JACO Concours July, 2009
I must admit that I was not prepared for this show. I ended up going to check it out for a site for the JCNA Challenge Championship in 2011. The Arthritus Foundation holds this show every year for charitable purposes. The Friday show is a cruise in of what ever you have. The Saturday show is a bit more structured with classes and judging. The Jaguar Association of Central Ohio (JACO) holds their annual concours during this show. There are usually 1200-1500 cars each day with very little overlap. If that was not enough, the fairgrounds are right down the street with the Good Guys Hot Rod show with another 6000 cars. I saw them as I flew out on Sunday. Just could not believe the amount of really neat cars.
Anyway, the show is held in Dublin which is a suburb of Columbus, Ohio. The area is modern, clean and very hospitable. There is plenty of parking, multiple hotels and amenities. I believe this will be a show not to be missed. There is something for the whole family. If there are some that get tired of seeing cars, there is a Zoo, water park, and a very large mall for shopping nearby. Picture links are below. It did rain mid day on Saturday which I was told was very unusual.
